~ Strangers in Static
“This self-initiated brief will be an independently driven experience, orientated by the assertion that: Design and designers can be agents for positive change.”
I want people to see the value in connecting beyond their bubble. I urge those who don’t usually interact with strangers to feel that there is a benefit to them; that for our well-being the fleeting intimacy of those interactions is crucial.The concept was based around a hypothetical radio show that the newspaper would be based on.
These images showcases the newspaper featuring stories and interviews from strangers interacting in Falmouth, as well as some stickers. Finally, I produced a mock radio show, with a landing page to listen, featuring an interview and some music mixed in.
